Cyanotype on Fabric (Tote Bags, Pareos, Pashminas)
- All fabric prints should be handled with care to avoid any hand oil contamination.
- Wash with COLD water ONLY. Do not use detergents or softeners as they contain phosphates and will alter the integrity of the colors.
- Line Dry or Tumble Dry on low.
- Steam or Iron is OK.
Scanned Prints
- Original Cyanotypes are scanned using a state-of-the-art Hasselbad 200MP multi-shot digital camera with Broncolor strobe lighting. The equipment captures true color using custom ICC profiling to provide the most accurate color transition between scanning and printing.
'Limited Edition' Original Cyanotypes
- All originals are created with archival quality Fine Art paper and Cyanotype chemistry
- To ensure long lasting quality, avoid an alkaline or buffered environment which causes cyanotypes to lose image detail and density.
- Original cyanotypes should not be exposed to direct sun light to avoid fading.
-
NOTE: Images that have faded or lost image detail due to light exposure can recover image density over time if they are stored in the dark in a neutral, non-buffered environment.
